Graduate Management Student Association (GMSA) Wine Tasting and Networking Event
On November 2, the Rensselaer Lally School Graduate Management Student Association (GMSA) hosted an event, “Cheers with Alumni 2012,” at Revolution Hall at Brown’s Brewing Co. in Troy. The event, attended by 150 guests, featured current Lally MBA students, faculty, staff, alumni/ae, as well as friends of the Lally School. Guests enjoyed wine and appetizer pairings, while reconnecting with old friends, networking, and enjoying good conversation with alumni/ae.
The annual Wine Tasting event provides Lally graduate students with the opportunity to practice their networking skills with alumni/ae and members of the local business community. The evening was sponsored this year by the generous efforts of the event’s sponsors – including title sponsor, CDPHP, and supporting sponsors TS Treo Solutions and TIMIT Solutions.
This year’s event included recognition of Rita Thompson, a long-time student service manager at the Lally School, for her years of service to Rensselaer students, the Lally School, and the alumni/ae community.
The GMSA wine tasting committee worked throughout the fall semester to make this event a great success. Committee members included:
