Lally M.S. QFRA, Undergraduate Finance Programs Partner with CFA Institute
The Bachelor of Science in Business and Management (Finance concentration) and the Master of Science in Quantitative Finance and Risk Analytics (QFRA) at the Rensselaer Lally School of Management have been recognized for curricula that substantially reflect the body of knowledge within the Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA) program. As part of this recognition, up to five annual CFA program awards are available to Lally QFRA and undergraduate finance students. Current students in these programs who wish to pursue the CFA designation should contact Tom Shohfi, assistant professor of finance and accounting at Lally, for more information about these awards.
The Lally Bachelor of Science in Business and Management emphasizes fundamental skills in finance, marketing, human behavior, computing, and information technology, among others. Skills in quantitative analysis are further developed through core courses in strategy, statistics, mathematics, and science.
The Master of Science in Quantitative Finance and Risk Analytics at Lally provides a deep understanding of the cutting-edge theory and advanced analytical techniques required to establish a career in the dynamic and evolving financial industries.
