I-Corps Program Kicks Off

NSF Innovation Corps

Eleven teams from RPI (graduate and undergraduate students, with representatives from each of the five schools), one from Albany Medical College, and one from the community began the National Science Foundation-funded Innovation Corps Program, a four-week startup boot camp on October 10. The intensive program gives students a framework for applying the scientific method to launch a startup. Over the course of the four weeks, teams iterate on their hypothesized business to gain an understanding of the problem they are solving. This program is offered every semester and interested individuals can find out more online.
