I completed my undergraduate degree in economics with a double major in Arabic at ChengChi University in Taiwan. In my last year of undergraduate studies, I worked as an intern at a technology company where I learned business strategies and had experiences in supply chain designing. I decided to pursue a graduate degree in supply chain management after becoming aware of the rising demand for international business and the impact COVID-19 has had on trade. I also believe that my background in economics and language is a perfect combination to apply in the supply chain field. I chose Lally's supply chain management program because of Lally’s prominent alumni connections and the many opportunities it offers for hands-on experience. My research interest is in demand forecasting and supply chain designing. I hope to become a supply chain planner after my graduation. Outside of the classroom, I enjoy cooking and participating in outdoor activities with friends. I also like trying various types of food around the city.

Although I knew my career interest by sophomore year, it was not easy for me to change career paths from real estate to finance. I have four years of professional experience in real estate and I hope to leverage it in my future career in finance. I have always loved the mechanics of finance and to pursue this dream, I had to undertake master’s courses in statistics to sharpen my mathematical and statistical skills. As a master’s quantitative finance and risk analytics student, I aspire to be a quantitative analyst. I chose Lally because of its reputation and the quality of education it offers. As an admissions ambassador, my objective is to liaise with prospective students (locally and internationally) to help them understand the application process and why they should choose Lally. For me, choosing Lally was based on an informed instinct and it turned out to be the best decision. Through Lally and the Center for Career and Professional Development, I was able to secure an internship for the summer of 2022 with Bank of America as a quantitative analyst. Additionally, I have a passion for art, so I take time on the weekends to visit art museums in different states nearby. I also love playing soccer, reading, and volunteering in my spare time.

I finished my undergraduate studies at the University of Delaware with a major in management information systems and a minor in business analytics in May 2021. My post-graduation plan is to become a business analyst or business consultant. To gain a deeper understanding of the field, I chose to pursue a master’s degree in business analytics. The program’s rigorous curriculum will provide me with a solid foundation. During my spare time, I like to hang out with my friends, stay in with my dog, and participate in outdoor sports such as skiing and snowboarding.

After completing my undergraduate degree, I moved to Schenectady, New York, to work as an insurance agent. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, I left my job and decided to pursue an MBA degree. I applied to a few colleges, but ultimately chose Lally’s MBA program after reviewing the strong curriculum. The coursework and concentration match perfectly with the finance career path I plan to pursue. I am proud to be a part of the Lally School of Management and take forward its legacy with my name. In my downtime, I like to take a step back, relax, and pamper myself in any way possible.
