Lally Ph.D. student Alexander Bringsjord had his paper accepted into the 2024 International Association for Computing and Philosophy (IACAP) conference in Oregon this summer.  His paper, titled, “Should Meeting the Deep Dangers of Generative AI Fall Upon Academia or Industry?” focuses on whether industry or academia should “carry out the analysis of generative AI and figure out how to protect humanity from its deep dangers.”
