Lally Pilots New Inspire Fellowship Program

Lally, along with the Severino Center for Technological Entrepreneurship, has been asked to participate in a pilot program called the Inspire Fellowship Program.

The program, powered by the Rensselaer County Industrial Development Agency and the Technology Management Institute, and supported by New York State Technology Enterprise Corporation (NYSTEC), represents a pioneering approach to education and professional development. It is designed to nurture the talents and aspirations of students who are passionate about disruptive technologies and technology development in firm, connecting them with real-life industry stakeholders and fostering meaningful relationships in fields that lead to innovative solutions.

These are paid positions (initially funded by NYSTEC) that will also be available to students to fulfill internship or other requirements in the undergraduate programs. The first cohort of four to five participating students will be selected at the end of the semester for a spring pilot with local companies. For more information, email Professor Kevin A. Fletcher, Ph.D.
