Undergraduate Programs

Innovation is assuming an ever-greater role in our lives.

Lally focuses on the intersection of management, entrepreneurship, and innovation preparing students for the core elements that are critical to business success: rigorous analysis, relationships and teamwork, a global perspective, agility, and leadership.

Through internships, co-ops, and study abroad, our students are encouraged to expand their learning experience beyond the classroom. In an intimate environment that is so unusual for a business school, our students form productive relationships on campus, giving them a head start on their path to the marketplace.

Students in the Lally School receive an education that prepares them to deal with the challenges of a rapidly changing economy, whether as innovative decision makers in existing companies, or as self-propelled entrepreneurs.

Rensselaer offers limitless combinations of options for students interested in obtaining a master’s degree in addition to their current undergraduate program. Through departmental consent, a student may begin taking graduate-level courses as early as the junior year.

Rensselaer students who pursue undergraduate degrees in engineering, science, or other majors may be interested in a career in management. The business school provides an opportunity to do so,  with a B.S. + MBA degree designed with the Rensselaer student in mind.

The Lally School offers a combined Bachelor of Science and Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree in management and law.
